Founded in Edmonton in 2022, we build and operate businesses in education and software.
Why education
We started in 2022. As parents, our co-founders chose education deliberately: they believe the next generation's learning has never mattered more than in an era shaped by AI.
Milestones
- 2022 WYU Holdings founded
- 2024 Ultimate Coders Edmonton SW opens, reaching 80 enrolled students within its first ten months
- 2025 Alberta regional master franchise rights secured through UC Alberta Inc.
- October 2025 Ultimate Coders Edmonton West opens
Beyond the classroom
We have supported Ultimate Coders' expansion into math tutoring. We partner with local public schools on a program we run inside the schools themselves, and have helped schools explore and establish their own STEM and technology programs. In Allard and Secord, the neighbourhoods around our centres, we take part in community events such as snow days and planting days.
Software
We also build and own software for Edmonton small businesses, using AI to improve efficiency and lower operating costs. Our products include MySchedio and HotShot Scotty, a system customized to one client's needs. Accluen and WanderIQ were built at the request of individuals; we own both and continue to develop them.
