← PortfolioHow we build
We take ideas from a first request to finished software, and where we can, we run what we build ourselves.
What we have built
MySchedio
Operating
A booking and scheduling platform for service businesses that run on appointments, on the web with apps for iOS and Android. It runs at our own Edmonton SW centre, where families book, mark absences and arrange make-ups themselves, and it is in use by other service businesses today.

HotShot Scotty
Beta
Urgent same-day loads are often dispatched by phone and text, which makes jobs hard to track. HotShot Scotty is custom dispatch software we built for a hotshot delivery company moving time-critical freight with a small fleet.
It is in beta with the client now. Working means the client running its daily dispatch on it, and the software leaving beta.
Accluen
Delivered
Speaking goals set in a session get little practice at home. Accluen gives children and adults a way to practise between sessions with a speech professional, on their own time. It is practice support, not therapy.
We built it at an individual's request, delivered it, and own it. Working, for Accluen, means a speech-language professional recommending it to clients for home practice.
WanderIQ
Delivered
Planning a family trip means balancing different ages, budgets and energy levels. WanderIQ builds the plan around the whole family rather than a single traveller.
We built it at an individual's request, delivered it, and own it. Working, for WanderIQ, means families planning a trip with it, then coming back to plan the next.
What we are building
Snow Cleaning
In development
Snow-clearing customers keep calling to ask when their driveway will be cleared, and commercial property clients need proof of when a lot was cleared and salted. Snow Cleaning is being built for contractors serving both: residential services with seasonal contracts, and commercial properties.
Working means customers notified automatically through a whole snowfall, and every visit logged with a time and photo for a full season.
UC-Marketing
In development
Local businesses depend on search and maps but rarely have the time or expertise to manage them, and franchise locations each market themselves separately, with no shared view of what works. UC-Marketing is being built for owner-run local businesses, starting with our own centres, and for franchise and multi-location operators.
Working comes in three steps: running the marketing for both of our Ultimate Coders centres, then use across our Alberta Ultimate Coders territories, then the first paying customer outside our own businesses.
UpClass
Proof of concept
Independent tutors lose time to scheduling and payments instead of teaching. UpClass, at the proof of concept stage, is for independent tutors who want that handled for them.
Working means a group of tutors running their sessions through it for a full term.
How we work
We build for a real user first, run it ourselves where we can, and only then ask whether it should serve anyone else. MySchedio ran at our own centre before other businesses took it up, and UC-Marketing is being built the same way.
